Nutrition Education and Nutrition Response Testing

The Importance of Nutrition for Optimizing Brain Health

Nutrition Education

Just as a balanced diet is important for optimal body function, it is also crucial for optimal brain function. Brain boosting foods are essential for getting nutrients to your brain cells in order to maintain a healthy heart/brain balance, and also brain regulation. Oppositely, foods and beverages that contain sugar and other artificial ingredients keep your brain from working at its best possible level. Whether you are recovering from a concussion or brain injury, or are simply looking to get your brain functioning at its peak level, we can work with you to achieve your goals. Our team helps each client set individualized nutrition plans to include foods that improve brain function, and exclude foods that worsen brain function. For an idea of what foods complete a healthy, balanced brain diet, see what’s cooking under Dr. Diane®’s brain recipes.

Nutrition Response Testing

Nutrition Response TestingSM is an advanced muscle testing technique that is both pain-free and non-invasive. This technique is used to determine which specific whole food nutrition products are required to create a nutrition program that meets the client’s unique needs. We track progress weekly on the nutrition program (daily diet improvements and specifically chosen nutrition products) and as the immune system function improves, we begin to see improvements in many body systems and brain function. At 12 weeks we assess the percent improvement in brain function and we can predict how long it will take to reach the client’s goals.
