As a survivor myself, I know that while recovering from a brain injury, we face a lot of adversity. This journey is not only physically difficult, but it is also very emotionally draining, and sometimes things seem completely hopeless and very lonely.
Rosh Hashanah was earlier this week, so I wanted to share an inspirational poem for the new year. This poem was written by Max Redfire (www.maxredfire.com) author of Zen Popcorn.
A friend of mine wrote this poem and won First Prize in the National Poetry Contest in Writer’s Journal. I liked it so much I asked if I could use it on the blog :).
