Memory-Improving Kale Chips

Kale is one of the most nutritious foods out there for both your body and brain. These delicious kale chips are high in iron, vitamin K, and full of antioxidants, carotenoids, and flavonoids.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch kale washed, dried, stems removed
  • 1.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 cup warm water to help melt the oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil melted
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 pinch cayenne

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degress
  • Blend all coating ingredients (not the kale) in a blender
  • In a large bowl, toss the coating mixture and the kale leaves
  • Arrange the kale leaves on a baking sheet. Make sure that none of the leaves overlap
  • Broil in the oven for 5 minutes, then flip leaves and broil for another 2 minutes
  • Serve immediately
