Reiki for Recent Injuries
What is Reiki and How Does it Compliment the Healing Process?
Reiki is a form of energy healing that focuses on bringing positive, universal energies into the body. These positive energies interact with living cells in ways that balance and support the natural healing process.
Because Reiki treatment can aid healing, it is potentially beneficial for any health issue. Certain conditions respond particularly well to Reiki, one being recent injuries.
When we treat recent injuries, we give a strong dose of positive energy to the injured areas. We also treat the adrenal glands in order to calm the stress response. In fact, most people find Reiki very relaxing and nurturing.
Over and over again, I’ve seen excellent results treating injuries with Reiki. One client came in still shaking and terribly pale from a recent accident. He left breathing normally, walking steadily, and with color in his cheeks.
Another client was experiencing severe back pain after a car accident. He was barely able to move and was panicking that the accident had done serious damage. After the first treatment, he was able to move more comfortably. After the second treatment, he was pain-free.
Every professional Reiki practitioner I know can cite similar examples. Injuries anywhere in the body and of any degree of severity respond well to Reiki – from sprained limbs to surgical incisions to concussion or stroke.
It’s important to receive Reiki treatment as soon as possible after an injury. As the days go by, energetic patterns become more engrained in the body. Reiki can successfully treat old injuries, but more treatment is required to achieve the same results.
If you have a recent injury, or if an injury occurs in the future, please consider prompt Reiki treatment. Reiki may help your body heal more quickly and may improve your response to other forms of treatment.
Of course, keep in mind that Reiki is a complementary therapy and does not take the place of medical care. It’s recommended that you see a licensed health care professional for any serious injury or health condition that you may have.

how do i know that my reiki specialist is the one for me? or how do i find out they are not jus taking my money on false pretenses
Hi John,
Thank you for commenting.
In my opinion, the best way to find a practitioner is through personal referral. If that’s not possible, you can ask how long a Reiki provider has been in professional practice. A practitioner with several years of professional experience is generally more skilled. When you have your initial appointment, bear in mind that a Reiki session should be pleasant and relaxing. There may be noticeable treatment gains after the first session; however, with chronic or severe conditions, several sessions may be necessary for a change in symptoms to occur. If you do not achieve the results you want, it’s probably best to seek another Reiki practitioner, or try a different method.
Hope this helps. There is a Way!
